NyayaAI

An AI legal operating system built for Indian practice

NyayaAI is legal software for advocates, chambers and in-house teams in India. It combines 250+ AI drafting and research tools with the day-to-day machinery of a practice — matters, hearings, deadlines, time entries, invoices with a GST engine, document storage and a client portal — in one place. What separates it from a general-purpose assistant is the line it draws: limitation dates, GST treatment and citation checks are computed by rules that show their workings, not generated by a language model. Where a rule is state-specific or has moved, the product says so rather than inventing a date. Built by MNB Research.

What it does

Drafting and research: legal notices, plaints, written statements, contract review, case briefs and opinions, grounded in Indian statute rather than generic legal text.

Practice management: matters and parties, a hearing diary, deadline reminders by email, time tracking, invoicing with correct GST treatment, a retainer and trust ledger, and document storage.

Client-facing: a portal where a client sees only the documents a firm has explicitly shared with them.

Built for Indian law specifically

Limitation periods are calculated by date arithmetic against the Limitation Act schedule — applying section 12 to exclude the day of the cause of action and section 4 to roll a last day falling on a court holiday forward — not generated by a language model. The calculation returns its workings so an advocate can check it.

Compliance calendars cover roughly 180 statutory obligations across 12 practice areas, with real form numbers and due dates. Where a rule varies by state, or a commencement was phased, the entry says so and asks you to verify rather than printing a confident date that might be wrong.

Conflict checks normalise corporate suffixes, honorifics and "M/s" before comparing, and stay silent on a shared common surname alone, because a screen that cries wolf is one people learn to click past.

What it will not do

Outputs are informational and are meant to be reviewed by a qualified advocate before you rely on them or file them. NyayaAI does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for counsel.

Frequently asked questions

How much does NyayaAI cost?

The Practice plan is ₹999 a month and includes 150 AI credits and one seat. There is a permanent free plan with 5 credits a month and no card required. Larger plans add seats and credits.

Is there a free trial?

There is no time-limited trial. There is a permanent free plan instead, so an account does not stop working because a countdown expired while you were in a hearing.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

No. Payments are taken as one-time orders through Cashfree, so nothing is charged to you again without you choosing to pay. A plan simply lapses at the end of the period it was bought for.

Who is NyayaAI for?

Solo advocates, chambers of two to five, established firms, and in-house legal teams in India. There is also a free public rights explainer for people who are not lawyers.
